The last couple of months have been full of fun – from cooking with the seniors to elegant holiday events – read on to see what we've been up to!
Eatontown Community Center
Summer camp has never been this good! I had some wonderful cooking classes with the children at the Eatontown Community Center. They learned proper sanitation, how to measure, and cut (with plasticware, of course). It was a great hands-on experience for these cuties – we made everything from shish kababs to parfait cups!
Cooking Classes with the Seniors
The ladies at the senior center and I meet up once a month for some hands-on cooking and kitchen safety tips. On this day at the senior center, we made a delicious grilled shrimp served on avocado toast.
Giving Back
I was honored to speak to the third, fourth, and fifth graders at Shark River Hills Elementary School. We talked about the endless possibilities that life has to offer! What a fun bunch of kids, I was so happy to revisit my hometown and give back what was given to me.
Holiday Events
Private dinner parties are always in demand. This was a beautiful New Year's Eve party I created. Give me a call to discuss your next holiday, birthday party, or special event. I will create a customized menu to fit your pallets, and we will pay attention to all the details that will bring a fantastic dining experience to the privacy of your own home.
A Worthy Cause
Fundraising for the Tigger House Foundation with my mom was again a wonderful experience. For the last two years, I was invited to participate in this wonderful foundation.
Tigger House Inc is dedicated to achieving a positive impact by reducing the death rate of heroin and opiate addiction. It is truly an honor to be a part of what this family has set in motion in the memory of their child. They have courageously decided to honor their son and take a resolute stand to fight the raging drug epidemic devastating our youth.
